This logo was designed for a new restaurant opening in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The concept for the restaurant was to provide a street-style, Asian-fusion cuisine to locals looking for a new flavor. The idea was to hold onto the rustic and home-style aesthetic of Buenos Aires while suggesting something new. So, the name was set in a typeface that embraced the freedom of slightly imperfect, hand-drawn letterforms and was contained in a soft square. The tail extending from the "e" was used as a flourish often seen in people's signatures - this was their stamp that reinforced the quality of their brand.
